The Foundation is happy to highlight our Director of Finance and Affiliate Funds, Mary Crowley.
Over her 15-year tenure, Mary has worn many hats at the Foundation across operations, grants, and development. As the Foundation’s staff has grown, Mary has been able to focus her talent and time on the financial concerns of the organization.
As the Foundation’s Director of Finance and Affiliate Funds, Mary is responsible for tracking monies, managing our financial database, supporting the budgeting process, coordinating the Foundation’s Town Fund programs, and working closely with the Investment and Finance Committees.
“I have been here for over 15 years, and I have never once been bored. I love what a complicated, robust, and constantly evolving organization this is. I have worked with and had the opportunity to meet so many intelligent, interesting, and committed people. I genuinely love my job,” Mary says.
“The institutional knowledge and commitment that Mary brings to the Foundation is essential,” says Jay Kim, Community Foundation MetroWest Executive Director. “As the Foundation continues to evolve and grow, we are so grateful for Mary’s expertise and support across all aspects of the organization.”
Mary is a life-long MetroWest resident who grew up in Framingham and raised her 4 children in Wellesley where she has lived for the past 32 years.
When Mary is not working, she enjoys trying to garden and reading. Mary is a lifetime member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and has completely lost track of how many times she has read Austen’s six novels.
