Inspiring the Future: Spring 2026 YIP Graduation

“I will tell my friends that YIP empowered me to do more public speaking, learn about local nonprofits and their service, and an opportunity to meet new people. Throughout the 17 weeks, I was able to develop a new group of friends and learn about budgets, nonprofits, grants, and ultimately, philanthropy.” – Spring 2026 YIP Wellesley Alum

The Community Foundation for MetroWest (CFMW) congratulates our Spring 2026 Youth in Philanthropy graduates!

At the end of May, our Framingham and Wellesley programs concluded with a Graduation ceremony at the Weston Community Center. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the students’ hard work and hear about their experiences throughout the program.

During the ceremony, we also acknowledged our Spring 2026 Youth Development Grant partners: Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE), Waltham Partnership for Youth, Jeff’s Place Children’s Bereavement Center, and One Can Help.

We were thrilled to conclude the ceremony with Dr. Darya Herscovici MD, a 2015 YIP graduate as an inspiring keynote speaker. Darya shared her philanthropic journey, offering valuable insights to the new graduates about how a giving perspective can be applied to any career path.

A big congratulations to the newest members of the YIP alumni network!
