The Elijah Chen Memorial Fund has been established by his family to honor his beautiful life, his deeply caring heart, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. Elijah was a bright light in our world—a gentle soul who brought joy, kindness, and love to his family, his friends, and his community.
Elijah was defined by his extraordinary selflessness, his servant’s heart, and his natural instinct to look out for younger children. Whether he was playing on a team, volunteering his time, or caring for his family, he always put others before himself.
This Fund, stewarded by Elijah’s family, will serve as a living extension of his generous spirit. It will provide meaningful support to general youth programs, athletic opportunities, and community initiatives that empower young people, foster teamwork, and lift up children in need. Through the fund, Elijah’s family hopes to carry forward his legacy of selflessness, ensuring that his passion for serving others continues to bring light and hope to the next generation.
Grieving the unexpected loss of our beloved Elijah is the hardest path we have ever had to walk. Yet, in our darkest hours, we have been profoundly comforted by the overwhelming outpouring of love from our community.
To everyone who has dropped off meals, sent groceries, brought flowers, offered continuous prayers, and wrapped our family in care—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your practical kindness has carried us through these difficult days and reminded us of the beautiful community that surrounded Elijah. Knowing how much he was loved, and seeing his generous spirit reflected back to us through your actions, gives us strength.
We are deeply grateful for your presence in our lives and for helping us keep Elijah’s legacy of love alive.
