Vice President of Finance and Administration

Christina Marin is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Community Foundation for MetroWest, bringing senior leadership experience in public finance, impact investing, and organizational stewardship. She began her career as a small-town journalist in MetroWest, grounding her professional approach in transparency, community voice, and a deep understanding of how local decisions shape opportunity for families.

Christina is a seasoned finance executive with more than a decade of experience managing complex capital structures for Massachusetts public institutions. At the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), she served as Director of Treasury Services & P3 Finance, where she oversaw a $2 billion investment portfolio, led strategic cash and liquidity management, ensured federal loan compliance, and structured long-term financing for major infrastructure projects.

She also draws on her experience as a former credit analyst at S&P Global and as Director of Investor Relations & Debt Management for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where she supported the state’s multibillion-dollar debt program and communicated its credit story to investors.

In addition, she brings experience in nonprofit management and strategic consulting for local mission-driven organizations. For several years, she served as Executive Director of Central America for the Children’s Well-Being Foundation, leading programs that advanced health and education outcomes for vulnerable youth.

Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. She lives in Norwood with her husband and three sons.
