The Foundation Honors Our Investment in Educational Equity at Community Leadership Reception

On October 10, the Foundation celebrated our commitment to enhancing youth academic success across MetroWest through the Equity in Education Action Project at the Community Leadership Reception at the Residence Inn Natick.

At this year’s standing room only event, the Foundation honored MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software, with the Community Leadership Award for their resolute commitment and partnership. Launched in 2021, the Equity in Education Action Project is a collaborative initiative aimed at tackling educational disparities faced by students in underserved communities. The project prioritizes increasing access to high-quality, evidence-based programs that create a strong foundation for academic success in literacy and STEM fields. The multi-year investment from MathWorks has allowed the Foundation to create and sustain these programs with the Framingham and Milford Public Schools with a goal to reach more districts.

Attendees got to explore the different curriculum at our experience tables. Representatives from Literations and Saga Education were on hand to walk attendees through a typical tutoring session and to answer questions.

Thanks to all who attended and contributed to the success of this event including our event co-chairs Elizabeth Holmes and Jason Grant, the event committee, and our sponsors and donors.
