OUT MetroWest – From Inspiration to Impact

OUT MetroWest & Foundation for MetroWest

Inspiration: There was increasing need for OUT MetroWest’s programs which connect LGBTQIA+ youth with supportive peers and LGBTQIA+ adult role models. As the organization began to expand, they outgrew their space. Their needs included enough room for a “Drop-In” program that provides a less structured alternative to their other regularly scheduled programs.

Impact: The Foundation for MetroWest believed in the mission of OUT MetroWest and became a fiscal sponsor of the program in 2011. That support allowed the organization to grow into an independent and thriving nonprofit serving our LGBTQIA+ youth in MetroWest.
