Lovin’ Spoonfuls – an Inspiration to Impact Partnership

Inspiration: Lovin’ Spoonfuls already knew the benefits of food rescue and why it was essential to tackling food insecurity. They were doing incredible work in the Greater Boston area facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded, but the organization did not have a much-needed presence in MetroWest.

Impact: Thanks to the support of the Foundation for MetroWest and additional MetroWest funders, Lovin’ Spoonfuls was able to expand, and has been rescuing food in this region for almost ten years. They were especially vital to our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
