    To support their innovative Chalk Talk group therapy program within the Framingham Housing Authority, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network, and Cameron and Walsh Middle Schools in Framingham.

    To support the Waltham Family Strengthening Project that reaches vulnerable families with children under six in collaboration with Waltham Family School and Waltham High School. The program delivers proven interventions with compassion to stabilize families, prevent abuse and neglect, and improve future options for young parents and their children.

    To support parent engagement for the program, which helps students at high risk of dropping out of school attain a high school diploma and a realistic, sustainable, post-graduate plan.

    To support Reducing Achievement Gaps Family Assistance Network: Emergency Aid for Poor Immigrant Families with Young Children. Reducing Achievement Gaps is a wrap-around, multi-component, evidence-supported program supporting Framingham’s most economically disadvantaged, primarily Brazilian immigrant children and their families.

    To support their Nature Explorations program, which provides underserved Framingham youth with after-school experiences designed to spark curiosity about the wonders of the natural world. This program is executed in partnership with Hoops and Homework.
  • MetroWest ESL Fund
    To support their Framingham adult ESL program and provide additional ESL classes to help adult immigrants in the MetroWest area learn English, navigate systems, and prepare for college and career.
  • MetroWest Legal Services
    To support MWLS’ general operations and support their legal work in a variety of areas, including housing, domestic violence, government benefits, health care access, immigration relief for victims of violence, education, elder law, wage and hour disputes, consumer debt, small business formation, and the operation of the pro bono panel.
  • MetroWest Mediation Services, Inc.
    To support MWMS mediators in providing free mediation services in summary process sessions (eviction cases) to landlords and tenants in three district courts in MetroWest.
  • Natick Service Council, Inc.
    To support NSC’s case management program and related NSC services, which provide basic human services to low-income residents in Natick.

    To support their expansion to reach more at-risk children, parents and/or entire families get the specific item or service they urgently need in order to encourage positive change, maintain stability, or both.
  • OUT MetroWest
    To expand their programming for low and no-cost events for LGBTQ families to help them establish roots and build community in MetroWest. LGBTQ families will be connected with one another and with local businesses through family-friendly and educational activities.

    To support their third annual, large citizenship workshop in Framingham to benefit immigrants living and working in the MetroWest area.
  • REACH Beyond Domestic Violence, Inc.
    To support REACH’s Peers Against Violence program, which partners with local schools to provide classroom-based programming, peer leadership activities, and faculty/staff/parent training to promote healthy relationships.
  • Rise Above Foundation
    To support local foster families and provide the funding for youth in their care to participate in enriching activities and experiences such as sports, music, and camp.
  • SMOC/Voices Against Violence
    To support services to survivors of rape and sexual assault, including a 24-hour hotline, counseling and support groups, and legal and medical advocacy. All services are offered free of charge and in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

    To support the addition of two specialized classes (a basic computer class and a citizenship class) in their English/Life Skills Program for immigrant students.
