Bob joined the Foundation for MetroWest’s Board of Trustees in 2004. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Barker Steel in Milford from 1976 to 2003. A longtime active member of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute, he served as chair of the board in 1990 and 1991. Bob was actively engaged in many organizations throughout the MetroWest such as SMOC, Family Promise MetroWest, the JFS of Metrowest, and was a Board of Directors Emeriti of the Natick Service Council. With his late wife Joan, he raised his three children and foster son in Natick, and resided in Concord with his wife of 18 years, Janet.
