Letter to the Community: Executive Director Transition

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

2020 was a big year for the Foundation for MetroWest. While there was a lot of turmoil that affected our community– from the ongoing pandemic to the racial and social justice issues to a historic election—there were also a few bright spots throughout the year. We celebrated our 25th anniversary, and we were there for our neighbors through Covid-19 when they needed us most.

We have never been more humbled, yet proud to serve this region.

It is with extreme gratitude that we thank you for standing by our side and joining us as your community foundation to provide resources and support to our most vulnerable neighbors during one of the most difficult years any of us have ever faced.

As we look to the new year with optimism, hope, and a strong sense of resilience that we all witnessed last year, it is with humbleness and gratitude that we move forward as the community foundation for this region, and we look forward to our continued partnership as we work to lift up the lives of everyone who lives in the MetroWest.

We are excited to move into our new roles and continue molding the Foundation into an organization that can be a strong community partner for many years to come. Thank you, again, for trusting us as your community foundation, and we can’t wait to see what 2021 has in store for our resilient region.
