Thank you to all who attended our 11th Annual Community Leadership Reception honoring our investment in improving youth academic achievement across MetroWest through our Equity in Education Action Project. A special thanks to our co-chairs, Jason Grant, ARCO National Construction, and Elizabeth Holmes, R.W. Holmes Real Estate, as well as our phenomenal event committee, our nonprofit partners, and all our generous sponsors for making the evening a huge success.
At this year’s event, we honored the unwavering commitment and partnership of MathWorks with the Community Leadership Award. Since 2021, MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software, has been a valued community partner in building our Equity in Education Action Project. The initiative is invested in developing increased access to high-quality and evidence-based programs that create and solidify a foundation for academic success in literacy and STEM.
Our partners, Saga Education and Literations designed an immersive demonstration for attendees to experience the software and curriculum being implemented in the classrooms.
At the event, we previewed a video that highlights the work of our Equity in Education Action Project. It captures the incredible collaborative efforts that are helping to make a real difference in our schools.
Other event highlights included a silent auction and raffle. Among the items up for auction and raffle were a round of golf at The Country Club in Brookline, a set of four Red Sox tickets for 2025 season game behind home plate, and a three-night Newport, RI Getaway.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring our investment in education.
